Nearly two years ago, pediatricians and psychologists from Children’s Hospital Colorado convened a press conference to declare a “state of emergency” for pediatric mental health in Colorado. “Our kids have run out of resilience,” said Dr. David Brumbaugh, the hospital’s chief medical officer.
